Wallace Ugulino graduted as as Doctor of Sciences (D.SC.) in PUC-Rio (2014), with thesis entitled "Wearables for Supporting Spatial Representation by Blind Persons". The research theme is Wearable Assistive Technology, aiming at supporting Mobility of Blind Pedestrians. The research also includes Human Activity Recognition (HAR) in Context-Aware Devices, developed for making wearables that adapt themselves to the task at hand when supporting blind mobility. Other interests of research include CSCW / CSCL, Problem-Based Learning (PBL) and Challenge-Based Learning (CBL).
He graduated as Master of Sciences in the Federal University of the State of Rio de Janeiro (UNIRIO, 2010), with a dissertation related to the improvement of educational group dynamics suported by I.C.Ts. He earned the BSc in 2006 (Unigranrio).
